Laxar Fish-Farming produces salmon from spawn to slaughtering. The company operates two spawn farming stations at Bakki and Fiskalón in the Ölfus region in South Iceland in addition to a land based aquaculture station in Thorlákshöfn.
The first station at Gripalda started operations in early 2017. “Sigmundarhús” was started in 2018 and “Bjarg” in 2019.
